Today I was searching my computer for the perfect entry for weardrobe’s ‘time after time’ contest, and came across these unpublished photos, of one of my all-time favourite vintage dresses - also seen here.

I remember how happy I was when I found this dress, hidden away, in my local thrift store, and double-taking at the price tag - $6.00!

It is layer upon layer of lace and tulle and is ultra-luxe.

    I entered the contest too with my favorite vintage dress, but then when I read the fine print, it said that entrants must be residents of the United States or Canada. Boo!

  28. love it - the perfect fit and perfect length. I'm forever increasing my vintage dress collection but am constantly visiting my grandma to get them taken up. All the ones I find are like calf length which doesn't look too great on someone who is a bit vertically challenged

  70. I absolutely love it & vintages stores are my absolute favorite. Its really hard to find a good vintage store that doesn't sell 3 year old Forever 21 clothes in Los Angeles though!
